(Monday-Friday, from my morning quiet time, I will write a short thought for that day which I pray God will use to motivate you to ‘GO’ for that day. Your objective is simple…to GO…to GO OUT and share the love of Christ with someone in that day….to GO and bear fruit …to be light to the world.)

God’s Glory and ‘Our’ Transformation Process (con’t thought from yesterday)
2 Corinthians 3:18 (yesterday I wrote this verse as 2 Cor ‘2’:18…corrected today.3:18..sorry). Paul wrote “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, and are being transformed into his likeness and with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
Romans 12:1-2 Paul wrote “Therefore, I urge you, brothers (and sisters), in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing, and perfect will.”
God’s intention for us as New Testament believers…meaning we live in this dispensation where Christ is given to us …where the Spirit of God is given to live inside us…’so that’ we can enter a life long process of internal spiritual rebuilding…regeneration…’so that’ Christ can reproduce ‘his’ likeness inside us. Instead of being molded to the world culture around us…we become molded to the likeness of Christ…his manifest character becomes molded inside our way of thinking and behaving….and as we are transformed over the period of our lifetime…we will reflect, increasingly, the ‘glory’ of our Lord….as we are transformed by the work of the Spirit inside us. And then…only then…will we be able to be fully committed doers…’so that’ we can do God’s will…his good, pleasing, and perfect will.”
Father…we get so stuck and worn down by the daily blitz from life…the blitz of work and stress…and just running on the busy-wheel of life…the mind of our fallen flesh…the old nature…is like a constant vacuum seeking to suck us down into the pattern of this world….it pulls and sucks and just never stops…..but we know that through the power of your Spirit that lives inside us…we can transform, day by day, into the type of person, that Christ like person, that you desire all of us to be….we do wish to please you with our lives. We sooo need you every moment of every day to guide and help. You alone are source and supply. Amen
