our daily goal:
Philippians 3:14 “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
(Monday-Friday, from my morning time of study and reflection, I will share with you what God is teaching me. I ask you then to join me in each day and pray that God will use our time to draw us to a deeper understanding of His will and His ways. Our objective is simple…to ‘see’ and ‘know’ the light and love of Christ Jesus..‘so that’ we will GO OUT and share the love of Christ Jesus with someone in that day….to GO and bear fruit …to be light to the world.)

‘A New Birth Has Produced a New Being’
Regeneration is the renewing work of the Holy Spirit by which a person literally becomes a new creation. Our regeneration took place at the instant of our conversion to Christ. At that moment, we were given more than a change of direction; we received the impartation of new life.
That part of us that the Holy Spirit regenerated is our spirit. The Holy Spirit has energized our inner spirit with new life. Jesus called it a new birth in John 3:3, 5-6, and said, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (3:6). Regeneration is the Spirit-wrought renewal of our human spirit, a transforming resuscitation ‘so that’ the spirit is alive within us (Romans 8:10).
The Holy Spirit has been joined to our human spirit, forming a new spiritual entity. A new birth has produced a new being. “Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Friends….Read, and re-read the main ideas presented in the 3 paragraphs above until the reality of the meaning soaks down and marinates into the area of your understanding ‘where’ it becomes useful and serves to motivate your thinking and thus your behavior and activity in all things.
Ephesians 2:4 says that our new self has (already)a been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth, but we must yet put on this new self in order to progressively produce godly thoughts and actions – as the acorn produces an oak tree!
I pray that God will give you increasing ability to ‘see and be’…to see who you are in Christ…and then to be all you can be ‘so that’ you will be light to those that are lost in darkness. 😊
