Philippians 3:14  “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”   

(Monday-Friday, from my morning quiet time, I will write a short thought for that day which I pray God will use to motivate you to ‘GO’ for that day.  Your objective is simple…to GO…to GO OUT and share the love of Christ with someone in that day….to GO and bear fruit …to be light to the world.)

Today’s Daily Light:

Correction from yesterday (yesterday I stated ‘Your Kingdom Come’ as the 1st petition of the Lord’s prayer…it is the 2nd). 

The Kingdom of God

Matthew 13:31-32  Jesus said “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.  Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.”

This thing we call ‘life’….what is it?   The most accurate, correct, abundant and full ‘view’ of life should only be seen and understood in correlation to the understanding of the Kingdom of God.   Humans/people were designed, built, wired, to ‘know’ God and love God and worship God.  The all of human behavior…the all of our activities…the physical, emotional, mental….the ‘all’ of who we are and what we do…the ‘top shelf’ of all we can experience as to peace and joy…can only be fully realized by living life as it was designed.  The purpose and intention of God’s design for humans/people is for them to be in a personal relationship with Him living life ‘within’ His purpose and intention for how he designed life to be lived…how He wired us to be able to live life within His design.  It is His way..His ‘program’,.and He guarantees it to provide the highest level of peace, joy, and eternal satisfaction.  God’s ‘program’..is the Kingdom of God.  It is the ‘rule’ of life.  God’s program was from the beginning of time and is ‘coming’ in the earth and will be fully visible and demonstrated when Jesus is installed as the King of planet earth at His second coming.

John 10:10, Jesus said “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (some translations use the word abundantly instead of full.) 

Father…help us to see that ‘life to the ‘full’ is living life the way you designed. It is your ‘King’ living inside us and Your program for living being our program for living.   We know we can only live in such way with the power of King Jesus living inside us to lead and guide us.   In ourselves, we cannot live life to the ‘full’.   We thank you that you designed us so that you could live inside us and guide us and lead us in your ways and will to live life to the ‘full’.  We thank you for saving us and we thank you that you will keep us and bring us home.  Amen
