Philippians 3:14  “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”   

(Monday-Friday, from my morning quiet time, I will write a short thought for that day which I pray God will use to motivate you to ‘GO’ for that day.  Your objective is simple…to GO…to GO OUT and share the love of Christ with someone in that day….to GO and bear fruit …to be light to the world.)

Today’s Daily Light:

The point of coming to realize how ‘utterly’ and totally ‘lost’ we are and in need of being ‘found’…is ‘so that’ we can refocus our attention to see God’s solution for bringing men out of being lost and into the light.   The only way out of the darkness is to come into the light.  But if we are lost in darkness we cannot even find or see the light.   It is God who has brought. who brings, the light to us…God has shined the light into our hearts…the light of truth…shines on the pathway ‘out’ of death and darkness and this pathway leads to ‘eternal life’…not just a half-full life with ups and downs…no…eternal life is abundant life…full life….and the light is Jesus Christ.  He is the only light that leads us out of darkness and into eternal life.   There is no other way ‘out’…no other true light..no other path.  Jesus is the light.

1 John 5:6-    “This is the one who came by water and blood — Jesus Christ.  He did not come by water only, but by water and blood.  And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.  For there are three that testify:  the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.  We accept man’s testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart.  Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son.  And this is the testimony:  God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
