Why YOU are special in ‘all’ of Creation
Article in USA Today, today “Artificial Intelligence” (A.I.)
The main ‘idea’ presented in the article relates to the ‘concern’ of the eventual impact that AI could have over society and civilization. This concern has ignited a debate among top people in the world of science and tech like Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk who both are quoted to have concerns with the potential for the dark side of AI to be of high risk for humans.. “that machines with human like consciousness could eventually pose a risk to homo sapiens.” But then Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak says “We may have machines now that simulate intelligence, but that’s different from truly replicating how the brain works. If we don’t understand things like where memories are stored, what’s the point of worrying about when the Singularity is going to take over and run everything?” (Singularity refers to the moment in which machines become so intelligent they are able to run and upgrade themselves.)
Yikes. The Apostle Paul…not a Silicon Valley guy…but inspired by God the Creator of LIFE wrote in 1 Corinthians 2:14 NIV “The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Knowledge Engineering, are all remarkable human engineering and scientific fields of achievement that will never, cannot ever, approximate the human spirit. Never!
The most brilliant human mind, WITHOUT the influence of God the Creator’s Spirit living inside the mind…CAN/WILL NEVER…be able to ‘understand’ that there is a God-Creator who is the only being who can create the realm of human consciousness. Human ‘consciousness’ (self awareness)…the place where memories are stored…the mystery of self awareness…why and how we think and reason…is not simply an organic brain function… Humans are Created with a spirit inside the human body. The human spirit is area of our internal function wherein we have ‘conscious awareness’. It is THE human distinction, unique only to humans, and is what sets us apart from the animal kingdom. We are God’s special invention…because we have a spirit.
The human spirit cannot recognize God as Creator and source and supply of the LIFE unless God’s Spirit is merged/joined with one’s human spirit. When God’s Spirit is merged, comes to take residence in man’s spirit…divine knowing takes place…and that man becomes aware of…comes to know and accept the ‘things’ of God. It is not that a man without God’s spirit is stupid or not intelligent. No. It is simply that his mind does not know, see, accept, recognize God as Creator of LIFE..God created human consciousness. It is a ‘spirit’ function and will never, cannot ever, be replicated in Silicon Valley.

Lord…I am so thankful that you called me/us to YOU and through the miracle of our salvation experience…you regenerate us and give us of YOUR Spirit so that we can ‘know’ YOU and know truth. I pray for all the people around us everyday who are so blessed with super keen minds and are so wonderfully intelligent BUT who do not yet know YOU as their Creator and Lord. I pray that, increasingly, in 2018, we will feel a burden, a responsibility, to pray for all of those around us who do not yet know you ‘so that’ they can come to know you as Creator. Amen
