Daily Light – Dec 14, 2017 – Let There Be Light

Christmas is Jesus…He is the Savior

I have always enjoyed the music and songs of Amy Grant. One of the Christmas songs she wrote is called ‘

‘Love has Come’. Here is the words of the chorus from that song:

Love has come
For the world to know
As the wise men knew
Such a long time ago
And I believe that angels sang
That hope had begun
When the God of glory
Who is full of mercy
Sent his son

Understanding what an incredible loving Father we have…to give us His son…and then to grasp the idea that the Son was willing to become the Savior…to suffer and die for you and me. Oh…. what a wonderful, incredible Savior we have. He is a loving, caring, faithful, merciful, and truly wonderful Savior. He was given to us.

John 3:16…My version….. “For God soooooo loved the world that He gave His only Son to die the death we deserve and give us forgiveness and eternal life. Wow! Biggest Boo-yah of all time!!!!

Christmas is the birth of our Savior! Christmas is Jesus. Christmas is you and me celebrating God’s glorious gift to us.
