Today’s Daily Light:
Worshipping God as Creator
1 Timothy 4:4  For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude;

Isaiah 45:18  For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens (He is the God who formed the earth and made it, He established it and did not create it a waste place, but formed it to be inhabited), “I am the LORD, and there is none else.

Colossians 1:16  For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities–all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Psalm 8:3-8  When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?

Father…I often wonder why you would care about us.  Certainly you don’t have to care about us.  But you do.  And this makes us extremely, beyond what we can express, eternally grateful and eternally blessed.    Help us to see your glory and power in the good things all around us everyday that you have created.   When we see the morning light…the setting of the sun…the beauty of clouds and rain…the beauty of the woods and fields…a lake…the ocean…the animal kingdom…all of these You have created…and thus help us to glorify you as Creator…giver of Life.   And most of all dear Father…thank you that you have given us eternal life through your Son, Jesus.  And thank you that you have think about us and that you care for us.  Thank you.
