In his letter to the Philippian believers, Paul wrote:  Philippians 1:9-11:  ” And this is my prayer:  that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, ‘so that’ you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ — to the glory and praise of God.”

Father…I pray that in this week…that our love for You and for will grown in us in to a greater depth ‘so that’ our focus on loving You and others becomes the main catalyst for all of our actions ‘so that’ the life we live will be pure and blameless.   I know how ‘life’ can turn us upside down and chew- us-up and spit-us-out at times.. and in my own life I know that being blameless and pure is a daily challenge.  I know that if we will spend time with You in Your Word that you will deepen our ability to love You and to love others.   And I know that the more we love…the more we can please you.  Thus..this week…help us to pursue love ‘through our Lord Jesus Christ’.   Help us to put the brackets of Your Love around all of our actions and activities ‘so that’ we may seek to be pure and blameless before You.
